Dexter USA and Australian Standard are a description of style, not genuine brand.

Electric backing plates come in two different styles: Australian Standard and Dexter USA. It is important that all plates on your trailer match.
There are a few subtle differences between the two, including the shape and mounting of the shoes. Mostly notably though, is the hand brake lever. The Dexter USA style lever sits horizontally flush with the plate, while the Australian Standard style lever protrudes vertically away from the plate.
